Active Fatherhood Workshop held in GRAWE Croatia
We mostly talk about moms. But what about dads?
How successfully do dads juggle between different life roles, the ones they play within their family, and their profession?
We opened this important topic with working dads through pilot education called Active Fatherhood. We wanted to hear about the challenges that dads are dealing with and bring in a male perspective to dialogue about work-life balance and children’s upbringing.
Lana Kihas, master of early and preschool education, and Dianna K. Descovich, psychologist and author of the MAMFORCE Standard, held a workshop on responsible and active fatherhood for 20 employees of GRAWE Croatia.
It was interesting to hear about experiences from different life stages – dads with many years of experience, fathers of small children, and one brave future dad.
The education was held as part of the “Active Fatherhood” project, which is implemented by the MODE1 association with the financial support of the Central State Office for Demography and Youth.
